Our Story
About us
HawHaw House 楂留屋 began with leftover fabrics from theatre costume making.
We couldn't bear to see beautiful materials disappear after their time on stage, so we gave them another life — turning them into small handmade pieces and gifts.
Over time, that idea grew.
Today, we create original designs, embroidery and textile goods inspired by the places we live, the cultures we encounter and the little stories we notice along the way.
A piece of fabric can tell a story.
And when it finds its way to you, it can become part of yours.
HawHawHouse楂留屋 的故事，最初由舞台劇製作後剩下的布料開始。
那些布曾經被認真挑選、設計，甚至在舞台上成為故事的一部分。演出完結後，它們卻很容易被收起、遺忘，甚至丟掉。
但我總覺得很可惜。
因為它們真的很漂亮。
所以我開始想：
如果它們可以再一次被看見呢？
於是，我開始將剩下的布料重新做成小手作和小禮物。
我一直都很喜歡親手做東西，尤其是一些可以送給別人的小物。慢慢地，我發現，一件親手做的東西，價值並不只在於它本身。
它可以承載一份心意。
可以令人想起一個人、一段旅程，或者一個屬於自己的故事。
而這亦成為我最喜歡手作的地方：
當作品離開我的手，它的故事才真正開始。
